Wesley Falls to Salisbury
DOVER, Del. - Wesley College dropped a Capital Athletic Conference women's soccer match to rival Salisbury by a 4-0 final on Tuesday evening.
Sarah Koenig scored in the eighth minute and assisted on a score by Brenna Stuhler before the half as the Sea Gulls (4-1-2, 2-0 CAC) jumped ahead 2-0 at the break.
Sarah Jessilonis and Bonnie Sandone scored in the second half to put the match away.
Sydney Kahan (Cranston, R.I./Cranston) made 11 saves for the Wolverines.
Melissa Orgera picked up the shut out for Salisbury, making three stops.
Wesley will look to rebound with a match against Penn State Abington on Thursday, September 24.
