Wesley Falls at Villa Julie, 5-4

STEVENSON, Md. - Wesley College dropped a 5-4 final at Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) rival Villa Julie on Monday night.

The Wolverines took two of the three doubles matches, but were able to win only twice in six singles matches as the Mustangs came back to win.

The first doubles team of Lauren Tarver and Tara Spillane took an 8-6 win, as did Rebecca Pennington and Kori Isken at second doubles.

Tarver then notched a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles, with Pennington claiming a 6-4, 6-1 victory at second singles.  Villa Julie's bottom four singles players, however, dropped just four total games to take the match.

Wesley returns to action on Tuesday, April 8, when York (Pa.) College visits Dover, Delaware.
