Division I UMES Downs Wolverines
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The Wesley College women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Division I Maryland Eastern Shore.
Kori Isken (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) picked up wins at second singles and second doubles to lead Wesley. The sophomore was a 6-0, 6-1 winner in singles play and teamed with Taylor Blackiston (Chesapeake, Md./Bohemia Manor) for an 8-2 victory in doubles play.
The Wolverines other win came from Marina Palma, who was a 6-4, 6-0 winner at third singles.
Wesley is back on the court on Saturday, March 28 when Salisbury visits Dover.
