Thomas, Cooper Named All-CAC First Team

YORK, Pa. - Wesley College freshmen Tamisha Thomas (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and Ashley Cooper (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) earned All-CAC First Team honors, marking the first time in program history that a Wolverine received recognition on the first team.

The duo earns the honors on the heels of winning Wesley's first individual CAC crowns in women's track & field.

Thomas was victorious in the 100-meter hurdles, running a school record time of 16.17 in downpour conditions.

Cooper, meanwhile, picked up the win in the discus with a toss of 32.44 meters (106-5), also in sloppy conditions.

Cooper went on to earn second team honors in the shot put after finishing second with a mark of 11.98 (39-3.75), a new school record.
