Wesley Drops Match to York

DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College volleyball team fell in straight sets to York (Pa.) in a Capital Athletic Conference volleyball match.
The Wolverines (7-17, 1-4 CAC) held a 24-21 lead in the first set before the Spartans (14-8, 3-3 CAC) battled back with five consecutive points for a 26-24 win.
York took control early in the second set, 12-3 and it took a late Wolverine rally to keep it at a nine point advantage, 25-16 in favor of the Spartans.
In the third set, York went on an 11-0 run to take control of set and take the match with a 25-10 victory.
Wesley will look to rebound against Cabrini on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:00 PM.
