Wolverines Cap 2010 Season
SALISBURY, Md. - The 2010 season came to a close for the Wesley College women's cross country team with a ninth place finish at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships.
Kristen Sofia (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley) became the ninth fastest woman in school history at 6,000 meters with a time of 26:49 to place 46th overall.
Twila McCrea's (Laurel, Del./Laurel) 28:02 made her the 11th fastest Wolverine in program history and placed 54th.
Farryn Kauffman (Havertown, Pa./Haverford), Kelsey Whiteley (Ridgley, Md./North Caroline) and Megan Bradley (Mardela Springs, Md./Mardela) rounded out the scoring for Wesley.
Five different schools placed runners in the top five, but Salisbury captured the team title behind runners who finished fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth.
