Hat Tricks by Hindt and Cook propel Wesley Field Hockey to Shutout

DOVER, Del. – Wesley College Field Hockey used 3-goal performances by Kaila Hindt and Madi Cook to secure the 7-0 shutout of Hood College.  Wesley scored in each quarter with 2 goals in the first, third and fourth quarters, and a lone goal in the second.  Margaret Johnson contributed a goal and an assist, Carly Setting, Jessica Behornar and Hindt also had assists.  

The Wolverines outshot the Blazers 37-1 with 23-0 shots on goal.  They also held a 17-0 advantage on penalty corners.  

Wesley's defense led by Alexiss Hulse, Jada Kilgore, Madison Terzaghi and Christine Giuttari provided stingy defense throughout the game.  

Wesley (3-1) has one more road game at Eastern University on Tuesday before playing in front of the home crowd Saturday September 21 at 1:00 p.m.
