The Wesley Men's Soccer open the season with a WIN

FREDERICK, Md. - The Wesley Men's Soccer team open up the 2019 season with a strong 6-0 win over the Wilson College Pheonix in a tournament weekend hosted by Hood College. 

"A nice start for us" said head coach Steve Clark, "the first goal is so important and it was a delightful move from the attacking group and a well taken finish from Justin."
 
The Wolverines held a 29-2 advantage in shots. In between the pipes Jason Sommer with one save and for the Pheonix, Dan Perry with seven saves. 
 
Two goals from both Matt Dina & Kaiden Field and two assists from Darius-David Robinson highlighted a strong team effort.
Big day for Freshman Jacob Campbell who scored his first collegiate goal in the second half to seal the opening day win.
 
The Wolverines play for the tournament championship tomorrow, August 31st against the host team Hood College slatted to start time of 4:00pm.
